What Are Perks?
Perks in call of duty infinite warfare will give you an edge in the game. You can use them for a lot of different things from countering the enemy team and their perks, affecting score streaks and of course just a bit of extra help with your gameplay.
You will find that there are three separate tiers. Each one of these will give you access to different perks and we will run through them now:
Recon – this perk will allow you to see a large area on the mini map. You will also get an extra radar sweep when a standard enemy UAV appears and also another one when they die.
Blind Eye: this will make you invisible to AI targeting systems in the game. However bear in mind that some perks that the enemy could be using will counter this.
Blast Shield – this will make sure that you take less damage from explosives.
Dexterity – this will allow you to switch weapons and reload faster.
Ghost – you will be invisible to UAVs and radar pings. Remember that these can also be countered as well.
Overload – your payloads will charge faster.
Tac Resist – this will make sure that you take less damage from stun effects. This perk is another one that can be counted with other perks from the enemy.
Hardline – this will allow you to gain bonus points for each kill up to eight kills. This is well worth having an can increase your score streaks.
Momentum – this is also a great perk and will allow you to run faster. Bear in mind that this actually works overtime so you will increase your speed the longer you are running.
Tracker – this will allow you to see enemy trails even when they are cloaked, this can also be counted with other enemy perks.
Cold Blooded – this will make you invisible to thermal detection. Enemies will also not be able to see your nameplate.
Scavenger – this is a brilliant perk that allows you to resupply your ammo from dead enemies.
Gung-Ho – this will allow you to stay on the move while using score streaks and equipment. Ideal if you are fast-paced player.
Pin Point – you will be able to outline enemies when you are dealing damage or taking damage.
Hardwired – this will make you immune to EMP effects, certain equipment and it will also block the pinpoint perk above from the enemy team.
Marksman – this will allow you to see the enemy from a greater distance. This will also course sniper rifles to not flinch as much after firing.
Engineer – this will allow you to detect enemy equipment and score streaks. You will also be able to detect through walls and you will be able to detect mines.
Dead silence – this perk will allow you to move quietly as your footsteps and you jump packs are silenced.
