Maps Guide For COD Infinite Warfare:
The first map that we are going to cover is Retaliation:
this map will give you plenty of buildings and vehicles that will give you a map full of cover. You will also get a few interior areas which again adds to the amount of cover that you have with this map. In the center of the map you will find a hotel that is a great place to move around the map; the hotel features several routes which will allow you to move to both sides of the map easily.
Bear in mind that the hotel in the center does not give you much cover as opposed to the rest of the map so if you are at this part you will want to make sure that you are set up for close quarter combat.
You will also find in up a path that has a lot of cover and there is also a lower part but we do not advise using this much because it will leave you open to attack.
The main strategy for this map is to make use of all of the cover, if you venture to the hotel make sure that you have a good assault build as it will be fairly close quarters.
There is also a collapsed building and the dock area which will connect the lower area of the map. This map will seat a good close quarter loadout with SMG’s or shotguns.
this map is set inside a space station, primarily this map is set up with narrow alleyways and small rooms. This is another very close quarter map because of the way it is set up. You will also find that the ages of this map on the left and the right-hand side of very similar and the central area is based on interlinked alleyways as well as an upper platform which can be accessed by jumping.
The main thing to remember on this map is that the alleyways a fairly long so you want to take advantage of a good long-distance weapon like a sniper rifle or if you are going to make moves fast go for something like an assault rifle.
You will also find a couple of larger rooms on this map and there is cover in these rooms by the way of the pillars to hold the room up. The main thing to remember with this map is the current also very long so you want to make sure that you do not just run blindly down them. Either be set up as a sniper or a good close quarter assault build and you will find this map easy.
this map as the name suggests is a crashed destroyer. The main map is divided into two parts with a few buildings located throughout the map. You will find that the outer area gives you some cover but the main thing that you will want to do on this map is stick with an assault rifle. There are also various paths leading around the map they give you some very good lines of site so you can set up as a sniper.
Main thing to remember on grounded is as with some of the maps above this is fairly close knit so you will want to make sure that you are set up for a good assault build.
